As the efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19 continue in the region and country, businesses are finding new ways to provide goods and services including reduced hours, delivery and curbside pickup options.

Restaurant Announcements
Blue Surf Café, 250 Racine Dr., is open for curbside service and delivery Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday and Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for breakfast and lunch. It is serving family-style meals that can be picked up hot or cold and warmed up at home for 4-6 people. That includes meatloaf, chicken pot pie and other options. Fish Bites Seafood Restaurant, 6132 Carolina Beach Road, is open and offering curbside pickup and delivery for orders of $25 or more with a $5 delivery fee. There are specials that can be found here.
Ruth's Chris Steak House, 301 N. Water St., is open for curbside food pickup starting Friday.
The Greeks, 4401 Oleander Drive, is open and orders can be made at 399-1898 for curbside pickup, no contact pickup and delivery through DoorDash, Grubhub and Cape Fear Delivery.
Zocalo Street Food & Tequila, 1474 Barclay Pointe Blvd., is open and taking orders online and by phone at 833-5742 with delivery available via Takeout Central and Grubhub. It is offering a variety of family packs.
Services
AlphaGraphics in Monkey Junction, 3534 S. College Road is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is accepting orders via email or phone and is offering free local delivery as well as delivery via curbside. AlphaGraphics is able to create banners, signage, sandwich boards, floor graphics and more.
Rulmeca Corporation, 3200 Corporation Drive, is designated as a critical infrastructure supplier and it continues to assemble and repair motorized pulleys at its Wilmington facility. It has canceled visits with customers and suppliers.
The Honor Foundation at the Camp Lejeune campus has moved into virtual classrooms and it is providing curriculum to veterans. It has conducted human resource mock interviews via Zoom.
Your Computer Friends, 3818 Oleander Drive, is open daily for contactless drop-offs by appointment only. It is taking on-site appointments. Technicians are wearing masks, gloves, using their own keyboards/mice and conducting other safety processes. Call 799-8585 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for more information.
Restaurant Announcements
Brunches and King Neptune's are temporarily closing their locations. They will continue to prepare 100-150 meals everyday and donating them to volunteer and charitable organizations to support current needs. Wednesday is the last day for both restaurants with all sales going to employees and there will be packages for sale such as "Free Brunch for a month."
Burrito Shak, 5916 Carolina Beach Rd., is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a full menu and family dinner options. Orders can be made online at burritoshak.com or by calling 399-5895 and can be picked up curbside.

Walgreens is working with Postmates to deliver items on-demand. Items that can be purchased include over-the-counter medication, personal care and snacks. Contactless delivery is available where items are left at the door.

Brigade Boys & Girls Club, 2759 Vance St., continues to provide meal distribution sites during the stay-at-home order. Families with kids ages 5-18 are eligible to receive two meals (breakfast and lunch) per day, per child. Distribution sites are open Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Vance St. location and at 1601 S. 13th St.
Greene Resources, a recruiting firm, remains open and is available to assist in hiring additional employees. It is offering discounted rates on its recruiting services to subscribers of the Greater Wilmington Business Journal. Michaels, 6881 Monument Dr., is offering free curbside delivery and shipping for its products. Clients should shop online and choose in-store pick up for curbside delivery.
Petco, 324 S. College Rd., is now offering curbside pickup to minimize exposure. To pick up, order online, receive a notification when items are ready to pick up and call the store once arrived.
Verizon Wireless has waived overage charges and late fees to support customers who may be financially affected by the COVID-19 crisis. It is waiving two months of internet and voice service charges for current Lifeline customers and new affordable internet options for low-income households. It has added 15GB of high-speed data for wireless customers and small business customers automatically applied, and more.
Closures and New Hours
IronGate Partners, 2601 Iron Gate Drive, Suite 201, has closed its office but still has full capabilities working from home. That includes the ability to trade, send or receive money and open new accounts. Wine & Design, 1319 Military Cutoff Road, is temporarily closing its studio Monday at 5 p.m. due to COVID-19 and the stay-at-home order.

Generator Supercenter, 6759 Gordon Road, is open for business and offering virtual sales appointments. Through the appointment, employees take pictures of the house locally or using Google Earth and they present their recommendations and pricing using electronic means. Stone Garden, 5726 Market Street, is open for business six days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can deliver stone, mulch, soil, sand and pavers to a home or jobsite. It also offers curbside pickup. Customers are able to browse the displays outside if they remain six feet away from others. The showroom is currently closed but all products can be found online.
WECT Newswroom anchors Kim Ratcliff and Bob Bonner for Carolina in the Morning, and evening anchors Ashlea Kosikowski and Frances Weller will broadcast their newscasts from their homes. Reporters have been submitting updates from the field rather than from the studio and digital, marketing and sales teams are working remotely.
New Hours
Harris Teeter stores will offer expanded shopping hours for seniors during the coronavirus. Starting Monday, the company will offer two hours for shoppers ages 60 and more to shop from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. every Monday and Thursday. It is also opening its pharmacies at 7 a.m. every Monday and Thursday. It is also designating ExpressLane Shopping pick-up times from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for seniors only every Thursday. It is waiving the $4.95 fee and offer half-price delivery service.

Signs By Tomorrow - Wilmington, 112 North Cardinal Dr., Suite 108, is open for business 9 a.m to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is also to produce all types of printed material for businesses that may be related to the current crisis including signs and banners as well as any of our regular items. It can conduct business through email and phone and also bring items curbside for pickup. Delivery can be arranged.
TeamLogic IT is providing a limited-time offer to businesses needed assistance setting up remote work and other tools. Those who sign up before April 15 can get the first moth free for Firewall Rental Service, waived setup fees for Core IT services and reduced pricing for Remote Phone Systems.
YWCA of Southeastern N.C. is now offering child care services for essential workers, defined as personnel needed to maintain essential services, including health care providers, pharmacies, grocery stores, restaurants offering takeout and delivery, hardware stores, gas stations, banks, fire and rescue, police, laundromats, skilled contractors, warehouses and more.
The program operates from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the cost is $25 a day for members and $27 a day for no-members for Thursday and Friday. Lunch will be provided. During the week of March 30 to April 3, only five-day rates are available for $125-$135 per week. Locations include the Nir Family YMCA and the Midtown YMCA.

Planet Smoothie, 1427 Military Cutoff Road and 6400 Carolina Beach Road, is serving its full menu of smoothies, acai bowls, coffee, and tea. It is offering walk-ins for takeout, call-ahead orders and curbside pickup at both locations. Delivery is available for large orders. Purple Onion Café, 4647 Main Street, Suite 6, Shallotte, with the help pf Highest Praise Church, is offering hot meals for those in need during COVID-19. Packaged hot meals will be distributed at 19 Red Bug Road in Shallotte for the next three Wednesdays (March 25, April 1, April 8) from 4-6 p.m. Food will be distributed drive-thru style and a maximum of four boxes per car will be handed out.

Chrysalis Center is offering all its services via telehealth, including telephone or video conference. It is currently accepting new clients for mental health therapy and nutrition counseling. McKee Homes in Wilmington is offering live video home tours and reviewing contracts, home buying orientations, meeting with builders through FaceTime, Zoom or other virtual meeting platforms. Wine & Design, 1319 Military Cutoff Road Suite JJ, is offering $25 take-home canvas paint kits that includes pre-traced canvases, brushes, mixing plate, napkins and print of painting. YWCA of the Lower Cape Fear, 2815 S. College Road, is offering childcare services for essential business employees such as healthcare workers, first responders, grocery store workers, etc. The organization is accepting kids ages 0-12. Checkers, 1901 Oleander Drive, is open with walk-up and drive-thru services. It is also offering delivery with Uber Eats, DoorDash and Postmates.
City Club of Wilmington, 23 S. Second St., is now taking online to-go orders for lunch and dinner. Online ordering starts at 11:30 a.m. Items will be delivered to the car at City Club.
Tropical Smoothie Café, with locations at 2804 S. College Rd., 130 Hays Lane Unit 130 and 143 Poole Road, currently offers curbside pickup, mobile and online ordering and delivery through DoorDash, GrubHub and Uber Eats. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
Closures and New Hours
Harrelson Center campus, 20 N. Fourth St., is currently closed to visitors with staff working remotely. The Help Hub at the Harrelson Center is receiving emergency financial assistance requests through an online form and messages to 769-5357.
Prana Salt Cave, 7110 Wrightsville Ave., which closed on Friday, is offering a "Buy one, get one free" salt session to use for up to a year after re-opening. That is $35 for two 45-minute salt sessions. The sessions can be purchased here.

Gov. Roy Cooper has ordered all gyms, nail salons and theaters to close by Wednesday. All gatherings of more than 50 are banned also.
Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity ReStores are temporarily closed to the public. There will not be scheduling for new donation pickups and drop-offs will not be accepted until it reopens.
Farmers Supply Company, 2025 Oleander Drive, is open with extended Spring hours seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays. The store is currently only allowing ten customers in the store and ten in the Garden Center at a time. Curbside pickup and delivery are also available. The webinars are 30 minutes long and cover five topics such as: Setting SMART Financial Goals, Building a Budget, Saving Money, Managing Debt and Understanding Credit. The webinars are geared towards young individuals who are just entering the workforce.
Top Mops Cleaning Services, 6230 Carolina Beach Rd., in addition to regular cleaning services, it has added disinfecting to all handles, switches, doorknobs, railings, trash can lids and remote controls at no extra charge. It also has toilet paper and paper towels stocked at its store. That includes 6-pack and 12-pack of toilet paper and 2-pack and 4-pack of paper towels. It only accepts PayPal or cash. In-store and curbside pickup is available.
Wells Fargo is suspending residential property foreclosure sales, evictions and involuntary automobile repossessions. It is also offering fee waivers, payment deferrals and other expanded assistance for credit card, auto, mortgage, small business, and personal lending customers who contact the company. The company is temporarily closing some branches, adjusting operating hours of branches, relocating employees to busier branches, and utilizing drive-up instead of lobbies where possible.

Duke Energy is suspending disconnections for nonpayments for home and business accounts. Effective March 21, all fees for late payment, returned checks and credit and debit card payments will be waived.
Invictus Martial Arts, 7122 Market St., is stepping away from a traditional classroom environment and started filming video lessons for students. Classes are still being offered in the evening and are limited to 10 people inside the building. The studio is also offering live classes for students and anybody that wants to join via Zoom.
Closures and New Hours
Kohls, 228 old Eastwood Road, is temporarily closing all its stores through at least April 1.
Petco stores are now operating under reduced hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is to allow time for cleaning and restocking. Some location are offering new services like pet hand-off, drop-off and text notifications to minimize personal contact. All grooming salons will remain open with reduced hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The number of grooming appointments has been reduced and self-services dog wash, dog training and puppy playtime have been temporarily canceled.
Thrive Family Dental, 8115 Market St. Suite 204, is closing its offices to all patients except for dental emergencies for three weeks starting in March 18. This is under recommendations from the American Dental Association and the N.C.Dental Board. Dental offices are a high-risk are for catching and transmitting the virus due to the number of patients, duration of contact and proximity to patients during treatment.
Walgreens pharmacies are updating its store hours to 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. during weekdays and 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. drive-thru only at 24-hour stores. It is also offering drive-thru shopping for select health, cleaning and grocery items. Clients are also able to consult with a healthcare provider and chat with a pharmacist via the Walgreens app.

CloudWyze, 720 N. Third St., is offering a limited-time offer to businesses who sign up for cloud-based services until March 30 to ease remote working operations. The offer includes free expedited migration and implementation, 3 months of service and support.

Instead of standard measurements used for proper lens design, CustomEyes has a photographic no-touch method for measurements and design. State Employee's Credit Union is temporarily transitioning to drive-thru-only service, according to a news release. This is to reduce the possibility of transmission of the coronavirus. Members who need to access safe deposit boxes, drop off tax return information or inquire about loans should call their brand to schedule an appointment. To apply for a loan or deposit check, the bank encourages member to use the website ncsecu.org.
Wilmington Eye is suspending all routine and non-urgent appointments starting Thursday morning. Offices are still helping patients who need urgent care regarding their vision. The decision, according to Wilmington Eye, was based on recommendations from the CDC and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Restaurant Announcements
Wrightsville Beach Brewery, 6201 Oleander Drive, is launching its "grocery" service Thursday to help reduce the burden on grocery stores and prevent food waste on the restaurant side. The grocery items will initially be items already in stock at the brewery, but plans are to expand. The brewery is also open for curbside pickup and delivery within a 4-mile radius.
Wilmington Ale Trail is compiling a list of breweries, bottle shops and bar updates including pick up, delivery and to-go options. The list, found here, will be updated daily.
New Hours and Closures
Barnes & Noble, Wilmington location at 850 Inspiration Dr., is reducing operating hours at all stores. All events planed in stores through the end of April have been canceled.
Old Navy, 352 S. College Road, is temporarily closing all its North America stores starting Thursday. There is no store pickup option during this time. Returns have been extended to July 1 for purchases made between Jan. 1 and March 31.
Services
Axis locations in Castle Branch and Lumina Station are offering classes at 5 a.m., 6 a.m., 7 a.m. 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Classes will be limited to 10 people and group workouts will be 45 minutes each to allow time to clean the space and ventilate the area. One-on-one coaching will continue around the group training schedule. Any unused sessions will be converted to a pass. For those who can't attend, Axis will also post at-home workouts.
Caringtodeliver.com is offering free advertising for local restaurants and delivery service owners. The site provides a way to streamline what restaurants are offering, where they deliver and what precautions they are taking to ensure safety. Freedom Boat Club is implementing a series of enhanced boat cleaning and preparation standards to prevent the spread of COVID-19. That includes protocols for employees, equipment and vessels.
It continues normal dockside operations for members as scheduled. There are no interruptions for members at this time. All social events are being canceled or rescheduled until further notice.
Mystic Elements will be closed to all foot traffic. It has added a feature to its online store for curbside pickup service for customers from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Customers can call 799-1001 or email [email protected] to place an order.
Restaurant Announcements
City Club of Wilmington is offering menu options during regular dining hours including take-home wine. It has a limited lunch and dinner menu. To-go orders can be placed by phone at 343-1880 ext.210. Meals can also be taken out to the car.
Cousin's Italian Deli, 7 North Third St., is open for in-store pickup, curbside pickup and delivery orders. It is also offering family pasta dinners and chicken dinners for pickup that feed 8 to 10 people.
Downtown Business Alliance and Wilmington Downtown Inc. are gathering a list of restaurants offering curbside pickup, take-out and delivery services, as well as stores that are open, offering discounts, online shopping, curbside pickups, etc. in downtown Wilmington.
Stalk and Vine, 224 S. Water St., is offering pick-up and to-go orders Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Beer and wine is available for to-go as well.
Surfhouse Cafe & Shop, 604 N. Lake Park Blvd., is operating a takeout window with a special menu. Walk-up ordering is available and call-in orders are welcome.
Closures
Per Fidem, 1904 Eastwood Road, is closing its store until further notice. Orders can still be made at its website Perfidem.com with free shipping and returns on all orders. Per Fidem is also available by email and on social media.
Ulta Beauty is temporarily closing all stores as of 6 p.m. Thursday, including the Wilmington location at 840 Inspiration Dr., until at least March 31. Online pickup in-store will not be available during this time. It is offering free shipping for online purchases of $15 or more.
New Store Hours
Target stores, including the Wilmington location at 4711 New Centre Dr., are reducing hours and closing all stores by 9 p.m. daily, according to an announcement Wednesday. This is to restock items and deeply clean stores. Target is also reserving the first hour of shopping each Wednesday for vulnerable guests including the elderly and those with underlying health concerns.
New Store Hours
Dollar General StoresDollar General Corporation announced plans to dedicate the first hour of shopping to seniors. The store wants to provide at-risk shoppers the ability to purchase items they need at the beginning of each day to avoid crowded shopping periods, according to the announcement.
Stores are also closing one hour earlier than current closing times for cleaning and re-stocking. Opening hours will remain the same.

Uber Eats is offering a $0 delivery fee for all local restaurants starting today.
Closures
All restaurants and bars in the state must close starting at 5 p.m Tuesday as a response to the coronavirus, according to an announcement by Gov. Roy Cooper.
Restaurants and bars can still offer delivery and takeout.
Gov. Cooper is scheduled to host a press conference to announce a new executive order closing all dine-in options for customers in response to COVID-19.
The executive order will also include an expansion of unemployment insurance to help North Carolina workers affected by COVID-19. The announcement did not state how long the closures would last for.

Regal Cinemas announced the closure of all its theater locations, including Wilmington at 900 Town Center Drive, starting Tuesday, until further notice.
Services
American Water & Fire of Wilmington is able to disinfect local homes and businesses to eliminate the coronavirus through professional deep cleaning and disinfecting services, according to a news release. The company uses government-approved, qualified chemicals that disinfect against the new coronavirus. Services are available in homes, local schools, hospitals and other public spaces.
Besides cleaning services, American Water & Fire also provides clients with guidance on how to maintain the space after cleaning and a list for maintaining the environment clean.
Beach Babes & Buckets, a cleaning service, is temporarily expanding its services to include prescription delivery, grocery shopping and other services during the coronavirus. It also offers discounted cleaning packages for elderly clients.
Fleet Feet Wilmington now offers curbside pickup, home delivery and shipping options. Delivery is available within a 15-mile radius from the store for purchases over $50.
Julia's Florist is including an alcohol wipe with every floral arrangement to sanitize vases and containers to respond to the virus. It is also implementing a daily wellness check to employees. It is not able to deliver flowers to hospitals because they have asked to stop non-essential deliveries until further notice.
Porter's Neck Veterinary Hospital is taking extra precautions due to the coronavirus. For appointments and medicine pickup, clients should remain in their cars and contact the office by phone. New Store Hours
Harris TeeterHarris Teeter is modifying store hours to focus on cleaning, replenishment and the well-being of its employees, according to an
announcement Sunday. Stores will close at 9 p.m. every night starting March 15 until further notice. Stores will open at normal times. There is a three-item limit for water, toilet paper, canned meat, pasta, cleaning supplies, airborne cold, flu and allergy medicine.
Due to an increase in ExpressLane orders, there may be minor delays in completing grocery-pickup orders.
Publix
All Publix stores began closing at 8 p.m. starting March 14 until further notice. This will allow company employees to clean and restock product on shelves, according to an announcement.
The store has applied purchase limits on some items. Stores also offer delivery and curbside pickup.
Walmart
All Walmart stores, including Neighborhood Markets will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. until further notice. This is to ensure associates can clean and stock products according to an announcement. Stores that normally operate under more reduced hours will maintain their current operating hours.

Aromas of Peru's Wrightsville Beach location, 1978 Eastwood Road, is offering delivery service and curbside pickup starting March 16. Delivery is available from 5 p.m. until closing and within a 4-mile radius. For curbside pickup, call and order ahead.
Catch Restaurant, 6623 Market St., and Catch the Foodtruck are offering a special-priced limited carry-out, curbside and delivery menu. The menu is designed to feed couples or families of four. Wine and beer can also be delivered.
Chick-fil-a announced Sunday it was temporarily closing all its dining rooms seating to help limit person-to-person contact. Some restaurants are offering drive-thru, take out, delivery and mobile ordering options. The Chick-fil-a at Mayfaire, 6891 Swan Mill Road, is operating on a drive-thru only model.
Copper Penny, 109 Chestnut St., is offering curbside pickup by ordering by phone. Food can be picked up in the restaurant or delivered to the car.
Skytown Beer Company, 4712 New Centre Dr., is offering pickup through its drive-thru window. To make an order, call ahead. The full menu is available as well as beer to go.
True Blue Butcher & Table, 1125 Military Cutoff Road, is offering a new style of service. There will be curbside pickup for all menus and butcher shop orders. Orders can be made by phone or online. True Blue Butcher gift cards don't expire.
Uncle Vinny's, 1012 S. Lake Park Blvd., Carolina Beach, is providing curbside pickup and condiments will be available upon request.
