Venture Construction Group of Florida Earns Qualified Trainer Certification - PR Web

Sandra Lawson, director of operations, and Neysa Nordstrom, production manager and director of communications at Venture Construction Group of Florida (VCGFL), earned the prestigious NRCA Qualified Trainer certification. Lawson and Nordstrom attended the 2-day virtual conference led by NRCA instructors. The coursework includes NRCA facilitated exercises, role play coaching scenarios, small group sessions and peer discussions. Participants learn how to create training objectives, create a hands-on jobsite training environment, and successfully onboard and train new hires.

The NRCA is one of the construction industry's most respected trade associations and a leading authority in the roofing industry for information, education, technology and advocacy. Before participating in an NRCA Qualified Trainer conference, participants engage in a one-hour webinar on presentation skills., and each participant is assigned a topic to present during the Qualified Trainer Conference. Participant presentations are rated as a performance assessment; it is required to successfully complete the course to become an NRCA Qualified Trainer.

VCGFL staff members also hold the NRCA ProForeman Level 1 Certification that specializes in effective communication and management skills to streamline operations and jobsite productivity.
