An investigation is being conducted into the cause of a house fire in Menifee late Wednesday night, authorities said.

Firefighters responded at 11:12 p.m. to a house fire in the 30600 block of Shoreline Drive, according to Cal Fire Riverside. Heavy smoke and fire were showing from the second floor of the home when crews responded. The fire was knocked down at 11:34 p.m., with crews remaining on site for cleanup.

No injuries were reported.
