Split rail fencing project to begin Monday at Lincoln Birthplace - Elizabethtown News Enterprise

A project to restore split rail fencing at Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park begins Monday.

The project, paid for by the Great American Outdoors Act National Parks and Public Land Legacy Restoration Fund, will team young people with experienced mentors to replace fence lines in and around the park to help preserve the historic landscape and designate property lines and boundaries, according to a news release from the National Parks Service.
